Smt. Lalita Prasad Distt. Korba, Chhattisgarh, General Store Shop

 Smt. Lalita Prasad, Aged 22 years, W/o Sh. Narmada Prasad, R/O Village- Amarpur, P.O. Sutarra, Tehsil – Kathghora, Distt. Korba, Chhattisgarh – 5th Class pass, was part- time agricultural labourer with annual family income of around Rs.14000/- p.a. She came to know about NSTFDC  and its programmes from  fellow villagers and decided to avail of NSTFDC loan for setting-up a General Store Shop at her residence .The District Office of the State Agency of NSTFDC helped her in applying for the loan. She was sanctioned an amount of Rs.45000/- for the purpose in April 2006. Since then she has been running the shop successfully and is earning a net income of about Rs.2500/- p.m. She is repaying the loan regularly. This assistance provided by NSTFDC proved handy for Smt. Lalita Prasad as supplementing the income of her husband and in enhancing the quality of their life. They are now sending their children to school, have purchased a T.V. and have repaired their house for safe and secure living.
